The promo piece below has just been sent out by Ideal Orgs.

We couldn’t help but wonder if the person who created this thought about or saw the irony of the final product.

Consider this:

  • Besides the obvious attempt of depicting a charging rhinoceros, using the word “charging” in relation to Ideal Orgs is rather amusing. Parishioners being “charged” to buy and renovate expensive buildings, being charged exorbitant prices for services and 10-year old technology e-meters etc.
  • Alternatively, the same word could be used to describe the Ideal Org program which is “charging” ahead despite ample evidence of the program failing all over the planet.
  • And then of course there are also the wild “charges” the Church makes against people who have communicated their disagreement with the current status quo. The charges contained in some of the SP declares would give any sleazy tabloid a run for its money 
  • Considering the Rhinceros is one of the most endangered species on the planet, putting a picture of one on a promo-piece is quite telling – both for the Church and the Ideal Org Program. Is this a prophecy of what is to become of the Church and/or the Ideal Org program?
  • Rhino’s have extremely poor eyesight and are known to charge at anything, including objects that pose no threat to them. This pretty much describes the Church’s viewpoint insofar as making wild charges at anything or anyone they perceive to be a threat – mass declares, ridiculous squirrel buster activities, surveillance and fair-gaming of whistle-blowers, enforced disconnections and the like. The Church, like the Rhinoceros has poor sight of the fact that their own activities such as fair game and hate-websites are causing them far more harm and black PR than anyone “out there”. Much like a rhinoceros repeatedly charging at a concrete wall – the rhino will come off second best.

In our opinion, it would have been far more beneficial to use this picture to promote Precept 12 of The Way to Happiness (Safeguard and improve your environment). But that’s just us.

And so, without further ado, here is the promo piece.

  1. Bad ingrish…. last line should be: We are making all African orgs into ideal orgs

    which is lack of proof reading in addition to the above article

  2. Until such time as DM stops their evil practices such as disconnection, until such time as they stop declaring people suppressive. As long as they have 10,000 declared enemies or more in the field they will contract. And as long as they charge such exorbitant prices for their services that cult will die. The e-meter mark whatever costs not more than a few dollars to make and is sold for thousands of dollars is an additional ripoff. It seems that the village idiot by the name of DM will never learn.

    The senior policy of Scientology above all others is “maintain friendly relations with the public”.

    A fool and his money are soon parted. Anyone who is still donating to ideal orgs deserves to lose his money. The evidence of failure is there for all to see. Those public still on lines can see the handful of staff and public. It does not take a genius to figure out that there is no way in hell that even if these orgs manage to buy, renovate and open their buildings, there are not enough scnists left to man them.

    Oh, but wait, this dedicated scientologist says that scn has expanded 5X since soopa powa opened:

    Phew…all is ok then – plenty scnists to go round…

  4. This promo piece (and many others I see from RCS) totally violates Marketing Series 11 – PROMOTION. (Wonder if anyone reads those green books anymore?) I am not a trained PR – I just pulled out my Management Series and found this within 5 minutes. Can’t these people do the same?

    “In order to get response, you’ve got to first find out what people want. You’ve got to find out what people consider as valuable. When you know what people want and what they consider valuable, you know what they will respond to.

    It takes surveys. It’s no good flying blind or trying to guess at it. You wont KNOW until you survey.

    So your first question on all promotion is, “Am I absolutely sure, before I invest any money in this promotion (make-up, printing, postage) that people will consider what I am promoting valuable enough to exchange their hard-won valuables for it?”

    The answer lies in the results of your survey. Promotion is always, always, always based on surveys, and it must contain the exchange factor”. LRH

    So, bearing the above in mind, I wonder how many people answered “RHINOCEROS!!!!” when asked what object or thing depicted Ideal Orgs in such a way that it would prompt them to donate towards this campaign?

    And where, in this promotion is the issue of exchange even addressed? (i.e. what will people RECEIVE in exchange for donating their “hard-won valuables” to Ideal Orgs?).

    It’s a simple answer really – they didn’t do any surveys and thus gave us the opportunity to rub their noses in the fact that they’re not doing their jobs properly. Am I likely to donate towards an organisation that takes my hard earned money and wastes it on useless promo that communicates NOTHING AND OFFERS NO EXCHANGE? Not bloody likely.

  5. It’s interesting to me that we don’t receive emails with pictures of the fundraising events anymore. At least, I don’t.
    Is this true for everyone else? If so, do you think it’s because the number of people who’re turning up at these fundraisers is getting less and less; and there are probably more staff than public? The public that do attend do so for their ‘theta’ not their money and are coerced.
    Anyone received any nice photographs lately?

    • Gretel – yes I have noticed that too. Very little data being reported about these “awesome amazing funtastic” fundraisers.

      It’s entirely likely it’s embarrassing to show how few supporters they have at left at these events


      They are too scared to publish anything in case BIC or some other blog gets hold of it.

      Either way, they have reduced their reach yet again – Inch, by inch, they are shrinking, cutting their own comm lines and retracting into themselves.

      Weird – I thought the way to handle one’s enemy was to FLOURISH AND PROSPER!!! I sure don’t see any evidence of that happening in South Africa.

  6. Def of insanity: The inability to discern right from wrong. Unsound judgement. Impaired judgement. To see right where there is wrong and wrong where there is right. A persistant desire to do wrong.

    A symptom of insanity: to keep on doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.

    Psychosis: In the general sense, a mental illness that markedly interferes with a person’s capacity to meet life’s everyday demands. In a specific sense, it refers to a thought disorder in which reality testing is grossly impaired.

    Psychosis: A severe mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality:

    Symptoms can include seeing, hearing, smelling, or tasting things that are not there; paranoia; and delusional thoughts. Depending on the condition underlying the psychotic symptoms, symptoms may be constant or they may come and go.

    Scientology has evidently never found the cure for insanity and psychosis, which it professes to do without saying so. It is the underlying goal of scientology.


  7. Oh the Hamster Wheel goes round and round!
    This shows the Tone level of the field who insist on donating for

    ONCE the building is purchased – donations for renovations start!
    Then the donations to get the staff trained!
    There is not enough staff to man the Org!
    .There is not enough Auditors to Audit!


    For goodness sake LRH says look don’t Listen.

    even apply Basic Admin Tech. – Such a waste of time, materials being printed

      Endangered species
      Losing members.
      No marketing tech. No tech tech. Just fundraising. It is pathetic in the truest sense of the word..
      It is current management that is committing continuous present time overts against the original intent. Every single week. 100%. No doubt about it at all.
      If you are lurking or trying to figure this out, this promo piece is symptomatic of the deeper fundamental cause of this state of affairs. Management has completely lost the plot. Period. The evidence for this now overwhelming.
      Consider this overt: orgs are not attracting a flow of new interested people. Solution? Well, current management says “fundraise” and buy buildings.
      Management 101 at any college on the planet, including Hubbard College, says this is insane.
      And they be right too.

    • Ha ha. She probably came up with the idea – she is after all always charging into people’s lives where she is not welcome or wanted. And just like a Rhino, she will charge at anything, whether its a threat or not 🙂

    Seven is done by the many who are weak points.

    Eight is worked hard on.

    Nine is impeded by the bright attitude of the not quite “reasonable.”

    Ten is seldom done without gross withholds.

    One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, and Ten are the only places Scientology can bog down in every area.
