It is with great sadness that we inform everyone of our dear friend Ueli’s passing in the early hours of 14th October 2014.

My condolences too. I didn’t know him well but of course knew of him and attended some of his OTC talks. He always struck me as very sincere – a trait not very common nowadays and certainly not in the RCS or among his fellow still-in OTs. Go well, friend!
Sorry to distract from what is essentially a time to remember Ueli, but I just heard from one UTR he’s been paid out the balance of his org account without even asking for it. To me, that smacks of fear by the RCS. They’re on the run and clearing the decks to leap overboard.

Ueli and I spent many hours working together on the Arts Festival Committee which he was fiercely supportive of throughout the years.
I considered him to be a true and trustworthy friend. He was a kind, gentle, warm-hearted soul and an amazing Artist. I admired him greatly.
Go with love Ueli, I will miss you.
In all our interactions he was a gentleman, kind, interested in you and yet he maintained his personal integrity all the way through. A beautiful soul and artist.
A life lived well. It was Ueli who introduced me to this blog. I’ll be eternally grateful for that.

I was so sad to hear of his passing. Even though we have never been close friends, I have known him for a very long time and I always had a soft spot for him. Ueli is a kind, soft-hearted generous soul and a real gentleman as well as a gentle man. I have enjoyed his posts on FB and will miss seeing his art there. Fly with the angels, Ueli, we will miss you.

Ueli, it was an honour. I feel privileged to have witnessed the golden standard of what it means to be a friend, mentor and family man. All I can say is, one day when I grow up I hope to be more like you.
