BIC celebrates their 1st Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary5

This blog went live on the 25th October 2013 with it’s first article Hello & Welcome!

As stated in that article “We hope this blogging platform will provide a place for South African Scientologists to get back in comm. Most of us have observed outpoints & actions within the church with which we disagree. We have learned that we can’t talk about these things with each other. This is silly, unproductive and dangerous. Only an organisation that is open and transparent will fully serve its people”

Although we originally intended the blog to be a platform for South African Scientologists, we were delighted when within very short order, we were attracting international attention and support from Scientologists all over the world. Before we knew it, our little blog went global – and then some!

In celebration of our first year, here are some facts and figures of our achievements:

None of the above would have been possible were it not for our supporters – and that means YOU!  We have been delighted with your enthusiastic involvement and contributions of interesting commentary, healthy debate and robust conversation.

A special thanks to all those folk who assisted in keeping the blog going by writing and submitting articles, and of course to our “special correspondents” and “eagle eyes” who provided much-needed information for articles, thus keeping our followers engaged and interested.

And then, last but by no means least, we acknowledge and thank all the pioneering heroes who, at great personal risk, continue shining the light of truth on all things RCS. Many of you have personally assisted BIC find it’s feet and given us much needed guidance. Your help is greatly appreciated. To list everyone would take a while and we don’t want to leave anyone out,  but you know who you are, and we appreciate everything that you have done and continue to do.

With Love,

Back-In-Comm Admins

  1. Well done Backincomm.

CLO AF is sending a mission to assist you in getting the condition formulas implemented before Thursday 2pm. They must have these stats straight up and vertical..

All the best for the future. 😉

  2. VWD to you and your correspondents. You have calmed down a very nasty scene that occurred last year with the start of the declares. You have gotten truth out and it is very appreciated. 93,500 visitors to any blog in it’s first year is evidence. Thank you.

  3. Happy Anniversary BIC! Can’t believe it’s been a year already. Time does fly when you are having fun 😀

Here’s to many more years of freedom and enlightenment. Thanks for providing this platform for us Sefricans!

  4. Ahhh. now THAT is something to celebrate, BIC! Btw, love that light term “BIC” can’t help but be reminded of the earlier successful use of this term, viz; “BIC-CLICK.”
One can read all sorts of interesting connotations in this, hey? 🙂

With 2015 staring us in the face, looking forward to a real opening up of this blog, as a mouth-piece for “goodwill”, and less of the crash-bash agendas of those who simply cannot/willnot l-e-t g-o-o-o. 🙂

  5. “Celebration Day”

Her face is cracked from smiling, all the fears that she’s been hiding,
And it seems pretty soon everybody’s gonna know.
And her voice is sore from shouting, cheering winners who are losing,
And she worries if their days are few and soon they’ll have to go.

My, my, my, I’m so happy, I’m gonna join the band,
We are gonna dance and sing in celebration, We are in the promised land.

She hears them talk of new ways to protect the home she lives in,
Then she wonders what it’s all about when they break down the door.

Her name is Brown or White or Black, you know her very well,
You hear her cries of mercy as the winners toll the bell.

There is a train that leaves the station heading for your destination,
But the price you pay to nowhere has increased a dollar more.
    Yes, it has!
And if you walk you’re gonna get there though it takes a little longer,
And when you see it in the distance you will wring your hands and moan.

You can’t tell me Celebration Day (along with Stairway to Heaven [Led Zep]) wasn’t written for The Bridge to Nowhere. But I offer it here to BIC, especially “We are gonna dance and sing in celebration, We are in the promised land.”

  6. So wonderful to be part of this anniversary.

I have also cried and laughed during this time.

It is great to have the FREEDOM of Speech and to be free from
the Suppresion -I at one time would only whisper to myself and now
to actually acknowledge what I was perceiving was actually the truth!

Thank you to all you rebels who have spoken out and support LRH.

A big thank you to Scn.Africa for the countless hours you put in to keep the blog
alive and KICKING those who have the sole purpose of attacking and
    suppressing us.
To keeping us informed of the real TRUTH and how corrupt the
Church and certain individuals actually are.

For giving us a platform to Communicate.

The South African Lions are Roaring and it gives me great pleasure to
let OSA know that the SP’s are actually FLOURISHING AND PROSPERING

I look forward to our expansion over the next YEAR!

  7. Well done BIC!

This blog has been of great value and help to so many including myself. The platform has really helped us to have a say and see the viewpoints of others. This has made a world of difference.
All the best as you/we go from strength to strength.

  8. Happy first birthday.
Appreciation to everyone at ‘Scientologists back in comm’ for your work and dedication at helping others.

  9. Congratulations for one year of ‘Back in Comm’!
You created a great and informative blog with lively communication and a diverse and interesting community here (on ‘the fringes of the Internet’).

Exactly one year ago I sent you the words below in an email, and then was happy to see how the interest in your blog was expanding immediately and also internationally:
“Hi! Just want to congratulate you to your new blog and the title of it!
‘Getting back in comm’ – that is exactly the right way. The perversion and cutting of (natural) communication and the suppressive disconnection is at the root of the misery, IMO.
Wish you all the best for your blog, your endeavor, yourself and the people who are dear to you!”

For another successful year and more people waking up, going in comm and reconnecting.

  10. Thank you very much for your courage and your integrity in keeping this blog alive and communicating. It is very much in the spirit with which we all joined Scientology.

  11. Congratulations Back in Comm and thank you for being there doing what you are doing. Your site has been soothing and helpful all year through. Thank you for your courage and for standing strong.

  12. Congratulations and Happy Birthday. To the administrators, it’s a job well done! And to the commentators, many lively, even heated debates. The church would never have allowed it!

    We dared to say it!

  13. That is quite some statistics – I must say. South Africa has, even though I have never been there, always been close to my heart via all the PC’s and Pre-OTs I had from there when I audited in AOSH EU & AF for years. And also very much by having a center here in Denmark with Joan Schneehage from Natal.

    Happy anniversary !!

  14. Congratulations on your maiden voice! Thank you for establishing this communication line and holding it together with the people and their friends and family. Highly valuable and beneficial purpose! XXOO
